The Kazakhstan Association of Blockchain Technologies and Data Centres (KABTDC) has successfully collaborated with key government bodies and the Parliament to initiate a vital revision to specific regulations in Kazakhstan’s tax legislation.
This progressive move relieves hindrances that previously impeded the development of digital mining and digital asset exchanges within the country. The payment rate for digital mining utilizing its own generating facilities will be revised to 1 tenge per kilowatt/hour of electricity, further incentivizing local mining operations.
