Uzbekistan’s Digital Economy

On 28 April 2020, the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for widely introducing digital economy and e-government” was adopted. This resolution was adopted not accidentally. Nowadays, digital technologies in many developed countries serve the development of the economy and the welfare of the population.

a lot of attention is being paid in Uzbekistan to the improvement of telecommunications infrastructure, the digitalisation of industries and networks. In the past year only, 100 software projects have been developed as part of the digital transformation.
