China Enhancing E-Government Services

China’s e-government services have been greatly improved as the country further integrates its digital government platforms. As of March 2023, the National Government Service Platform had 1 billion registered users and had been visited 86 billion times, according to a recent report by China Internet Network Information Center.

The platform allows users to access thousands of standardized online services such as electronic social security and medical cards, cross-provincial medical treatment filing, and inter-provincial transfer and housing provident fund services.
