Congo’s Digital Infrastructure 

Congo continues to strengthen its national digital infrastructure. The President of the Republic, Denis Sassou N’Guesso, proceeded on to the commissioning of a new Tier 3+ data center built by the Post and Regulatory Agency. electronic communications (ARPCE) in Pointe-Noire. The equipment cost 3.8 billion CFA francs (6.3 million USD).

These various investments aim to develop the national cyberspace as part of the Congolese government’s digital transformation ambitions. The executive has made the digital economy one of the pillars of Congo’s socio-economic development in its National Development Plan 2022-2026. Brazzaville also wants to make the country an important digital hub in the Central African sub-region.
