Collaboration in AI Governance

China has expressed its commitment to enhancing collaboration with African countries in the governance of AI. This pledge was made during the China-Africa Internet Development and Cooperation Forum, where the Cyberspace Administration of China called for closer coordination and cooperation within international frameworks such as the UN.

The forum stressed the importance of ensuring that developing countries are adequately represented in the global development and governance of AI technology. The UN General Assembly recently adopted its first resolution on AI, co-sponsored by China and proposed by the USA.
