This commitment was emphasized through several flagship projects such as Special Technology Zones (STZs), a national fiberization plan spanning across the country, and initiatives aimed at ensuring affordable access to fast broadband internet and smart digital devices for the masses.
Pakistan had proudly joined the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), showcasing its aspiration to emerge as a pivotal partner in the global digital landscape, with a focus on offering high-end digital services and products. Secretary General of the DCO, had lauded Pakistan’s proactive stance in leveraging digital transformation to bolster its digital economy, which was forecasted to contribute a substantial $5.9 billion by 2030 to the nation’s economic growth.
