The global cybersecurity market was valued at USD 176.50 billion in 2020 and is predicted to reach USD 403.01 billion by 2027 with a CAGR of 12.5% over the forecast period. As a result, Egypt’s cyber security market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 10.7% during 2020–2026.To achieve drastic growth and transformation, the Egyptian government launched an initiative to digitalize the country, i.e., the Information and Communication Strategy 2030. The ICT 2030 strategy contributes to achieving the objectives of Egypt’s Vision 2030 through building Digital Egypt. One of the prominent objectives of this initiative is to ensure cybersecurity. Furthermore, in recent years, the government has formed an autonomous Egyptian Supreme Cybersecurity Council (ESCC) to create strategies to fight back against cyber threats.
