Türkiye-Turkmenistan Gas Deal

Türkiye and Turkmenistan aim to establish an annual gas trade volume of 15 billion cubic meters (bcm) over the next 20 years, totaling 300 bcm. Initially, they plan to utilize existing infrastructure for a volume of 2 bcm through a swap method.

The governments are exploring the construction of a new pipeline through the Caspian Sea to transport larger volumes of gas to Türkiye and Europe. Digital technologies will play a crucial role in monitoring and managing this complex energy trade, ensuring efficient operations and optimizing infrastructure utilization.
