Colombia Advances Digital Public Infrastructure

The Colombian Government is advancing its digital transformation with a major initiative aimed at enhancing financial inclusion, particularly for women and remote communities. This project focuses on interoperable digital payments and is part of a broader effort to improve public services through Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI).

The initiative, which includes multiple government agencies, aims to streamline operations and foster trust in both public and private sectors. Colombia’s approach, highlighted in the OECD Digital Government Index, could serve as a model for other nations seeking to leverage digital technology for economic growth and public service enhancement.
