The Türkiye and Iraq Governments have strengthened ties by signing 26 agreements in areas such as agriculture, security, and transport. A key project under discussion is the multi-billion-dollar “Development Road Project,” which aims to connect the two countries through railways, roads, and ports, enhancing regional connectivity. Both governments are actively engaged in further talks to advance cooperation on various transport projects, focusing on enhancing infrastructure development.
Digital advancements are expected to significantly manage these large-scale infrastructure projects, including the $17 billion Development Road Project and other major initiatives like the Baghdad Metro and Ring Road projects.
