Lithuania Leads E-Gov

Lithuania’s progress in digitization has been assessed in yet another global ranking. As per reports, Lithuania has moved up 3 places to 21st in the world among 193 UN countries. Lithuania belongs to the group of countries with a very high level of e-Government development.

The e-Involvement Index is also compiled separately and Lithuania jumped 38 positions to 29th place. Lithuania’s achievements in digitizing the public sector have also been recognized in Europe – according to this year’s eGovernment Benchmark 2024, the country is in the top group for digital public services, ranking 6th out of 37 European countries.
