Oman – Belgium Economic Partnership

Oman and Belgium have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in economic sectors. The two countries will explore opportunities for collaboration in areas such as maritime activities, port cooperation, and energy transition. They will also focus on trade, service industries, life sciences, technological innovation, and aerospace. This cooperation aims to promote peace and prosperity.

The two countries discussed cooperation in the energy sector, including the import of green hydrogen. They also explored opportunities for collaboration between their ports, including the Port of Antwerp-Bruges and the Port of Duqm. This partnership will help promote economic growth and development.
