St. Kitts Digital Transformation

The government of St. Kitts and Nevis has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing education and workforce training. This will be achieved through strategic investments in digital transformation and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The goal is to equip citizens with the skills needed for the modern job market. By doing so, the government aims to drive economic growth and development.

Significant upgrades are planned for the Advanced Vocational Education Centre, focusing on integrating cutting-edge technology into training programs. Immersive simulators with virtual reality technology will simulate real-world training experiences, promoting efficient resource use. This technology aims to shorten the learning curve, enhance operators’ skills, and increase productivity while decreasing energy consumption by 50%. By leveraging technology, the government seeks to create a skilled and sustainable workforce.
