China aims to boost its digital economy by promoting the development and utilization of corporate data resources. A new official guideline outlines the country’s plans to harness the value of enterprise data. The data generated by enterprises is considered a vital resource for their growth and development. Efforts will be made to enhance enterprise competitiveness and empower digital transformation.

The guideline provides specific arrangements in five key areas, including safeguarding corporate data rights and cultivating digital competitiveness. It also aims to empower industrial transformation, serve high-quality economic development, and create a predictable development environment.
