A group of esteemed organizations in the field of cybersecurity has come together to form the PQC Coalition. The coalition aims to accelerate the adoption of post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and raise awareness about the need for quantum-resistant encryption algorithms.
The founding members of the coalition include IBM Quantum, Microsoft, MITRE, PQShield, SandboxAQ, and the University of Waterloo. The emergence of quantum computers poses both opportunities and threats to national and economic security.
