Africa’s Government and ESG Hub

Africa’s government is prioritizing the establishment of an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Data Hub to enhance sustainable finance across the continent. Following the inaugural Africa ESG Forum in Côte d’Ivoire, stakeholders from the public and private sectors committed to addressing ESG reporting challenges and fostering awareness among local entities and international investors.

The proposed hub aims to unify sustainability efforts, providing a credible platform for training, technical assistance, and sharing best practices, with a particular focus on engaging small and medium enterprises to drive progress in ESG reporting.
