Cambodia Digital Economy

COVID-19 also made an impact on Cambodia’s economy, particularly in key sectors like garment manufacturing, tourism, construction, and agriculture.  As a result, Cambodia’s GDP experienced a contraction of 4.49% in 2020,  from $27.09 billion to $25.87 billion.

In a recent survey, an impressive 90.8% Cambodian participant expressed their belief in the potential of the digital economy to generate new job opportunities for the Cambodian population.
