Cyber Crime in Malaysia

The Malaysian government needs to enhance enforcement and penalties to address the escalating cybercrime threat. Despite existing laws like the Cyber Security Act, enforcement remains inadequate. To combat this, the government must thoroughly investigate, prosecute offenders, and consider amending laws and penalties. 

Additionally, public education on digital security and scam prevention is crucial. Initiatives should start from home and extend through schools to better equip citizens against cyber threats. Ensuring robust enforcement and widespread digital education will be key in mitigating cybercrime effectively.
