Cyber Threats in the Oil Sector

Canada’s oil and gas sector, vital for the economy and national security, faces heightened cybersecurity risks due to the increased digitalization of Operational Technology (OT). The sector, contributing around 5% of the GDP, reported the highest rate of cyber incidents among critical infrastructure sectors.
