Multiple Ukrainian critical infrastructure companies disclosed cyberattacks on 25 January. Naftogaz, Ukraine’s state-owned gas and oil company, experienced a significant cyberattack, which affected a data centre used by the company, causing the website and call centre to go offline.
Gas Networks, a gas distribution service within the Naftogaz Group, also fell victim to a cyberattack on one of its data centres. Additionally, Ukrzaliznytsia, the state railway, reported that certain services were disrupted by hackers, impacting some customers’ ability to purchase tickets online.
