Data Breach in UAE

A significant data breach targeting key government bodies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has raised alarms within the digital community. The threat actor, operating under the moniker ‘UAE’, has demanded a ransom of 150 bitcoins (USD 9 million) in exchange for not leaking the purportedly stolen data.

Among the victims are prominent UAE government entities, including the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority and the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation.
