DDoS Attacks on Swiss Websites

Swiss websites experienced a surge of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, believed to be orchestrated by a Russian hacker group known as NoName. The attacks disrupted access to various government websites, including those of the Federal Administration, prompting the Swiss National Cybersecurity Centre (NCSC) to swiftly respond.

The attacks were linked to Ukrainian President Zelensky’s presence at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. The hackers targeted not only government sites but also local airports, railways, hotels, and restaurants.
