Digital Asset Regulations

Kenyan lawmakers have reached out to the Blockchain Association of Kenya (BAK) to help create the country’s first-ever regulatory framework for digital assets. The Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning invited BAK to discuss the growing digital assets industry, focusing on regulations and taxes.

The regulatory framework aims to foster innovation in the digital asset industry while providing investor protection. It seeks to establish clear regulations and licensing requirements.
