The U.S. Army is taking significant steps to advance its digital engineering capabilities and streamline the contracting process. Young Bang, principal deputy assistant secretary of the Army for acquisition, logistics, and technology, recently announced the establishment of a digital contracting center of excellence.
This center will serve as a central hub and resource to enhance the contracting process and provide training to officers. Digital engineering and digital twins are key elements of the Army’s digital transformation efforts.
