The Digital Switzerland Strategy is adopted annually by the Federal Council – each with three focus topics. In this way, the Federal Council identifies current priorities. The new focus topics for 2024 are cybersecurity, Swiss approach to regulating AI systems and electronic interfaces.
Switzerland must increase its efforts in the area of digital transformation in order to remain a leader in innovation and competitiveness. All measures of the Digital Switzerland strategy are recorded in a public action. For each focus topic, the federal government also organizes an advisory board meeting with representatives from business, science, politics, authorities and civil society.
