Dubai’s Economic Digital Initiatives

The Dubai government has launched the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 to double the city’s GDP by 2033 and establish its global position in technology and innovation. Key initiatives include the Government Venture Building Program to transform government assets into commercial ventures, and the National Tech Skills Enhancement Program aimed at training 5,000 Emirati students in tech fields.

Additionally, the IGNITE platform seeks to support over 100,000 startups by 2029, while projects like CleanScape enhance urban planning through data-driven approaches. Regulatory sandboxes in the gig economy and PropTech sectors further aim to stimulate innovation and support emerging industries, showcasing the government’s commitment to fostering a thriving digital economy.
