A recent survey conducted by Ponemon Institute reveals that 61% of enterprises are worried about their readiness to handle the cybersecurity implications brought on by quantum computing.
The study, which involved 1,426 IT and cybersecurity professionals, found that 74% of respondents are concerned that their data might be targeted now by cybercriminals and decrypted in the future with quantum computing capabilities. While 30% of organizations have allocated a budget to prepare for the era of quantum computing.
