Equatorial Guinea’s Digital Development

The Prime Minister received the United Nations Resident Coordinator, Anna M. Pont, with whom she discussed the Government’s priorities for the national education sector and the achievements of the United Nations System. They engaged in a fruitful conversation regarding desired support and ongoing developments in inclusive and digital education, areas where the UN provided technical assistance. Following this, the Head of Administrative Coordination welcomed the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Equatorial Guinea.

During their meeting, based on the latest board meeting held by the National Centre for the Computerization of Public Administration (CNIAGE), Roka Botey, representing the Ministry for Public Administration, requested UNDP’s assistance in supporting the digitalization of public administration. Discussions revolved around supporting sustainable development programs, particularly focusing on digitalization initiatives aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency in public processes for Equatoguinean citizens.
