EU Grants North Macedonia €50M

The European union disbursed €50 million in loans to North Macedonia to bolster its economy amidst the energy crisis, catalyzing digital reforms. This assistance, part of a €100 million Macro-Financial Assistance (MFA) program, strengthens macro-economic stability and fosters government-led reforms. North Macedonia’s government fulfilled policy commitments, advancing public finance, tax policy, and judicial reform while prioritizing digital initiatives.
