French Regulation for Digital Assets 

The French securities regulator, Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), has released amendments to Book VII of its General Regulation that concern digital assets service providers (DASPs). 

These amendments are aimed at aligning the registration requirements for DASPs with the enhanced requirements introduced by the DDADUE Law and the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) of the European Union.These amendments to the AMF General Regulation will apply to licences issued on or after January 1, 2024.
