The United States and China are projected to dominate this sector, driven by growth in online retail and travel. Key to this expansion are advancements in digital platforms and investments in technology and skills. 

Governments play a critical role by focusing on digital infrastructure, supporting R&D, and enhancing digital skills. Despite Europe’s significant funding needs for tech growth, it lags behind in investment compared to leading digital economies such as the U.S., China, and South Korea.
