Serbia has been elected Chair of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) for 2025. During this period, Serbia will serve as the incoming Chair for 2024, joining the outgoing chair Japan and lead chair India at the head of the GPAI Council.
Established in 2020 by French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, GPAI’s primary goal is to establish global standards and regulations for the responsible development of AI. The initiative seeks to facilitate worldwide progress in AI technologies.
