Google Chrome Security Alert

A critical vulnerability has been discovered in Google Chrome’s V8 JavaScript engine, as per reports. The high-severity type confusion vulnerability could allow attackers to execute remote code on affected systems. This could potentially lead to system compromise and data theft. Google Chrome users are urged to update their browsers immediately.

As per reports, Google has addressed the issue in its latest Chrome update. The update is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux users. The vulnerability was discovered by independent researchers. The researchers identified the vulnerability as CVE-2024-12053. Users are advised to update their Chrome browsers to the latest version.
