Green Data Centers

As per reports, Canada’s federal government is exploring a $15 billion incentive to encourage domestic pension funds to invest in artificial intelligence (AI) data centers powered by green energy.

The proposal, part of ongoing consultations with major pension funds, aims to address AI’s surging energy needs while accelerating the country’s clean energy transition. The $1 trillion rush to build AI data centers has intensified international competition. Canada’s proactive approach seeks to position the nation as a leader in sustainable technology infrastructure.
