India’s Digital Exam Access

The Indian Government, via the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), has enhanced the process of accessing Class 10 and 12 board exam results by issuing a unique 6-digit Access Code for DigiLocker accounts. This initiative supports the secure and efficient retrieval of scorecards digitally. Schools can download and distribute the Access Codes to students, who can then activate their DigiLocker accounts to view their results.

This move reflects the government’s commitment to leveraging digital tools to improve educational processes and ensure the privacy and security of students’ data. The CBSE has partnered with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) to pre-create DigiLocker accounts, facilitating immediate access to academic documents once results are declared.
