Indonesian government is bolstering its cybersecurity systems to ensure a secure digital transformation. The Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs is creating a robust cybersecurity infrastructure, including the National Digital Firewall, to safeguard the country’s digital ecosystem. This firewall will prevent malicious attacks on public and private sector digital assets. Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs) will also be established in every government institution.
The government is investing in digital talent development and digital literacy improvement programs, which have already reached over 5.6 million people. Improving access to the internet is also a key focus, with Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) being provided in areas without fiber optic connections. This comprehensive approach aims to drive sustainable growth, enhance digital inclusion, and improve the quality of life for all Indonesians.
