Lesotho to establish Digital Schools

Feb 2024: Dr. Ntoi Rapapa, Minister of Education and Training in Lesotho, highlighted the importance of digital transformation in government development and skill building during the World Government Summit (WGS) in Dubai. He expressed his country’s aspirations to embrace digitalisation across various sectors, including education and training.

Dr. Rapapa referred to the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the UAE to support digital education. This collaboration will involve establishing digital schools in Lesotho, reflecting the shared commitment of both nations to empower and equip communities for the digital age.
