Malaysia’s Digital Economy

Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil held the Budget 2024 of Malaysia by recognizing the significant contribution of the digital economy sector to the country’s gross domestic product.

According to him digital economy sector had contributed more than 23% to GDP, and the figure is projected to rise to 25.5% by 2025 the. Communications, Digital Ministry and its agencies has also successfully attracted investments worth RM28.4 billion which is a 279% increase compared to last year.
