Microsoft has entered a five-year agreement with the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) to provide exclusive access to its AI-powered solutions for eligible public sector organizations in the UK. This partnership aims to support the UK Government’s ambition to drive innovation and improve services for citizens. The agreement includes substantial cost savings on Microsoft 365, Azure, and business applications.
The partnership also focuses on upskilling the public sector through training opportunities and certifications. Microsoft’s cloud solutions will empower government departments to make informed decisions, enhancing the efficiency and responsiveness of public services. Research suggests that advancing digital adoption could contribute an additional £550 billion to the UK’s GDP by 2035.
