Moldova Social Services Digitalized

The government of Moldova, in collaboration with UNDP and UNICEF, is launching a digital transformation project to enhance social protection services. This initiative aims to digitalize the social protection system, creating a unified platform for efficient, transparent service delivery. By assessing current digital capacities and integrating 15 existing information systems, the project will streamline processes, reduce errors and fraud, and improve citizen access to social services.

Supported by an $8.5 million budget, this project will simplify access to social services, align with EU standards, and promote social inclusion. The Digital Centre for Social Innovation will further aid this transformation, ensuring efficient and transparent service delivery.
