Oman as Blockchain Hub

As Oman’s blockchain industry booms, Exahertz, a Muscat-based start-up has obtained government approval for a blockchain data center project in Salalah. With the center up and running, Oman could position itself as one of the region’s blockchain hubs.

By establishing the center, Exahertz and the government of Oman aim to attract foreign investment, while propelling Oman into a digital economy. Exahertz is set to expand its operations through capital and debt investments, constructing cutting-edge infrastructure sourced from national factories. The company aims to manage power costs and ensure operational efficiency by leveraging hydro and immersion cooling mining technologies.
