The Pakistan Government, in collaboration with the European Union, has launched the “Pervaaz” digital media campaign to educate youth on the dangers of irregular migration. The initiative, part of the SAFER project, utilizes digital platforms, radio, and TV to encourage skill development and local opportunities. The campaign has resonated with Pakistan’s youth, driving conversations about staying in the country and avoiding illegal migration.
By leveraging digital resources, the government aims to empower young people to reconsider irregular migration. The campaign’s success has led to significant engagement, with 77.3% of participants rethinking their migration plans.
