The Pakistani government signed MoUs with Abu Dhabi Ports Group to enhance cooperation in sectors such as rail, airport infrastructure, maritime shipping, and logistics. These agreements focus on upgrading digital customs control, developing freight rail corridors, and improving maritime and airport services, emphasizing the role of digital advancements in boosting infrastructure and logistics efficiency.
In addition, the Pakistan government reaffirmed its commitment to increasing IT exports and advancing telecommunications, including the rollout of 5G services, to drive digital transformation and strengthen the country’s economy through improved connectivity.
