RSHE Child Protection

The UK Government has introduced new Digital Policies for Relationships, Sex, and Health Education (RSHE) to ensure age-appropriate and factual teaching content in schools. This updated guidance starts sex education in Year 5 from a scientific perspective, excludes contested theories like gender identity, and provides parents with access to educational materials.

It also addresses online safety, suicide prevention, and mental health impacts, highlighting the government’s commitment to safeguarding children’s education in the digital age.
