Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Initiative

City officials and experts gathered to honor innovations that promote smarter, more inclusive cities at the Seoul Smart City Prize Ceremony. Co-hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the World Smart Sustainable Cities Organization, the event showcased the role of government in leveraging technology to enhance urban living. Awards were given to Baguio City in the Philippines and Reykjavik in Iceland for their human-centric and tech-innovative projects, respectively. 

This initiative reflects the commitment of the Seoul Metropolitan Government to address urban challenges through digital solutions and foster global collaboration among cities, promoting inclusive growth and sharing best practices.
