Singapore Government’s Role in Generative AI Adoption

As per a report, Singapore’s government faces concerns from 82% of local business leaders and CTOs about the potential long-term impact of rapid generative AI (Gen AI) adoption on technology infrastructure.

The survey reveals that 81% of respondents believe their network infrastructure lacks the capacity to fully support Gen AI, despite 89% having it on their tech roadmap. Security concerns and a shortage of IT expertise are significant barriers to adoption, underscoring the need for robust digital policies and government support to address these challenges.
