Slovenia recently hosted representatives from Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay to discuss digitalization and artificial intelligence. The visit aimed to build capacity in Latin American countries and was organized within the EU Technical Assistance to Third Countries framework.
Key topics included AI learning processes and regulating AI use in society. Slovenia has been cooperating closely with Latin America and the Caribbean in digitalization and AI since 2021. The country co-chairs the Working Group on Artificial Intelligence and collaborates with the European Commission on the EU-LAC Digital Alliance. Slovenia’s efforts focus on promoting digital transformation and AI development in the region.
