This collaboration aims to accelerate HKU’s digital and intelligent transformation. The initiative will serve as a reference and inspiration for universities worldwide. It marks a new milestone in their collaboration on developing smarter campus network connectivity and infrastructures.
The joint initiative has already led to the deployment of a high-quality 10 Gbps campus network powered by Wi-Fi 7. This network ensures stable and smooth connections for teaching applications in smart classrooms, libraries, and auditoriums. The collaboration will continue to focus on smart networks, network security, and intelligent Operations and Maintenance (O&M). The goal is to build a more secure, efficient, and intelligent education environment for the future.
