Smart City Re-certification

Bucheon City recently acquired ‘Smart City Re-certification’ hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, solidifying its reputation as a leading smart city in Korea.

Over the next two years, a wide range of project achievements were achieved, including promoting the MOLIT smart city contest project, establishing an integrated urban control center, expanding infrastructure such as the nation’s highest density crime prevention closed circuit (CC) TV, operating a citizen participation living laboratory (living lab) and capacity-building training As a result, it has acquired smart city certification (level 2) by 2025.
