South Korea’s Smart City Vision

The South Korean Government, alongside Hyundai Motor Group, is shaping the future of smart cities. Hyundai’s vision, showcased at the World Smart City Expo 2024 (WSCE) in Goyang, integrates technology across space, mobility, and energy. The exhibition featured cutting-edge solutions like the DICE personal mobility platform, the SA-2 eVTOL air vehicle, and the SPACE-Mobility public transit system.

Hyundai also presented innovations in logistics and robotics, such as the hydrogen-powered City Pod and the Parking Robot. The Energy and Infrastructure Zone highlighted the blend of nature and technology. Hyundai plans to advance this vision by building a smart city platform, though no timeline has been set.
